Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North
Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36
hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour day
shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Every other weekend and every
other holiday schedule • Minimum 2 years of experience required,
first time travelers accepted • Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with bed
capacity limits to ensure ratios don't exceed 6 patients • BLS
certification required, ACLS preferred • EPIC charting system
experience required • Charge RN experience preferred • Remote
telemetry monitoring experience required • Must pass mandatory EKG
exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) • 24 hours of
orientation provided • Must float to all Cone Health campuses as
needed for patient care • Work with adult and geriatric patient
populations • Care for general surgical patients with pre-op and
post-op needs, medical overflow patients • Manage patients with
BiPAP, drips, and various medical equipment • Zero-tolerance policy
for tardiness and unexcused absences • Full compliance file
required by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date • COVID-19
and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only) •
Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility Facility: This
regional medical center operates as part of a comprehensive

facility features a 29-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with a
daily census of 27 patients, providing comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The

nursing practice. Location: Burlington, NC Burlington offers a
