Opportunity Highlights: Our new critical care surgical tower will operate under a closed unit / co-management structure, boasting 59 new beds, contributing to a total of over 100 critical care beds within the hospital This role offers the opportunity to specialize as a Cardiovascular Critical Care Specialist or engage in a natural rotation through various critical care units such as the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) With the opening of the new tower, ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) and Cardiovascular advanced support therapy will be available, presenting additional avenues for professional growth and development There is also the prospect to contribute to the development and co-management of the VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) program Rotation through Outpatient Pulmonary Clinic Candidate Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine Responsibilities & Duties: Schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, with 24/7 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support, along with a rotation through the Pulmonary Clinic Most shifts will be during the day, complemented by a natural in-house nocturnal call and a rotation of swing shifts shared among 12 physicians Benefits & Perks: Comprehensive medical and retirement benefits Paid leave benefits Malpractice coverage Emphasis on work-life balance Employment with NH Medical Group Additional Compensation Details Two-year salary guarantee Relocation allowance Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance Novant Health is a not-for-profit integrated system of 19 medical centers and more than 2,000 physicians in over 850 locations, as well as numerous outpatient surgery centers, medical plazas, rehabilitation programs, diagnostic imaging centers and community health outreach programs.
