is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our
dynamic team at LewisGale Christiansburg ER. This brand-new
free?standing emergency room opened in 2024 and provides
high?quality, specialized emergency care to the community. •24?hour
physician coverage •BE/BC – must be certified within 7 years of
residency •ABEM/ABOEM required •ATLS required •Moonlighting
residents: No Facility Information Christiansburg ER is a
brand?new, free?standing facility designed to deliver exceptional
emergency care to the region. The ER provides treatment for
pediatric emergencies, heart attack, stroke, asthma, COPD,
orthopedic injuries, and minor illnesses. As part of the LewisGale
Regional Health System, the facility benefits from an integrated
network of award?winning hospitals and emergency care centers
across Southwest Virginia. LewisGale Hospital Montgomery—a Level
III trauma center—serves as the primary referring hospital for the
new ER, ensuring seamless continuity of care for patients across
the region. Community Information Nestled on a plateau between the
Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains, Christiansburg blends scenic
landscapes with modern convenience. Located in Montgomery County
within the New River Valley and minutes from Virginia Tech, the
