Position Detail: Sovah Health, a two-hospital system on the southern border of Virginia, is located in Martinsville and Danville. We are growing with the addition of a hospital-employed, full-time BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to strengthen our established team. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered. Join an employed group composed of Hem/Oncs, APP, and Rad/Onc on-site Bi-weekly tumor board and clinical trial programs Aria Oncology information system Averaging 25-30 per day, outpatient clinic 10 infusion chairs, 2 quick chairs Inpatient treatment referred to large academic centers in the area Staffed with navigators, pharmacist, pharm tech, lab tech with lab draws in office, phlebotomist, office manager, clinical director (shared with radiation oncology) 24/7 Hospitalist coverage Most local cancer referrals come from GS, GI, Uro, Pulm, ENT and Neph.
