The role follows a preferred 7 on 7 off schedule model, catering to a varied patient load, averaging 10 patient encounters per shift. Open dates continue throughout the year. Candidates will perform an array of obstetric and gynecological procedures in a well-equipped department of 15 beds. Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens - Setting: Hospital - Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing - Schedule: 7 on 7 off, varied shifts - Patient Population: All Ages - Location: Henderson, NC - Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage - Supportive credentialing assistance - Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) - Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections - Perform OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and gynecological surgeries - Provide care for low and high-risk pregnancies, although high risk is not a requirement - Conduct office/minor gynecological procedures Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS - Experience in performing various obstetric and gynecological procedures Working Hours - 7 on 7 off model, varied shifts Skills - Competence in decision-making for C-section - Ability to manage multiple types of deliveries - Proficiency in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds - Strong skills in surgical gynecology
