Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time, onsite Behavior Specialist certified as a BCBA is needed for the 2026-2027 school year in Springfield, MA. This contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and involves supporting students in a school environment. Key Responsibilities: Implement behavior intervention plans based on individualized student needs Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop data-driven behavior goals Collaborate with educators and staff to promote positive behavior supports Track and analyze student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Maintain required documentation in compliance with state and school policies Qualifications: Current Massachusetts BCBA certification is mandatory (active license required) Experience working in school settings with direct behavior intervention Ability to complete background checks and drug screening Dependable transportation with punctual arrival and departure Strong communication skills to collaborate with school teams Additional Requirements: Fingerprinting and CORI background checks must be completed before starting Immediate notification to school and recruiter if unable to work due to illness Availability for a virtual interview via Microsoft Teams (15-30 minutes) Location: Springfield, MA Contract Type: Full Time, Onsite This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes by providing specialized behavioral support.
