Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is a 921-bed hospital acute care and surgical facility that has served the Winston-Salem community since 1964. The hospital is home to a 56-bed level IV NICU, maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancies and educational classes for new parents. The facility is a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and a NICHE Designated Hospital, and has received NCQA Physician Quality Awards and Magnet Recognition. It also houses a breast center nationally accredited by the American College of Surgeons. Winston-Salem is located in the central Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. Now home to nearly 250k residents, the community dates back to 1733 and offers a plethora of unique historical tours and quaint neighborhoods to explore.
