Occupational Therapist Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,517 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year Home Health experience License: Valid Driver's License and proof of Insurance Certifications: BLS; State License Must-Have: HCHB experience Description: Occupational Therapist position available in Home Health. The role involves six visits per day. There is no maximum mileage to drive, with an average of approximately 60-80 miles per day, and mileage is reimbursed weekly. The candidate should be seasoned in home health care. The service area covers various locations. Common patient diagnoses include chronic diseases, orthopedic conditions, falls, weaknesses, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and occasionally stroke patients. Required skills include ADL training, AIDL training, endurance training, and the ability to assess the need for and provide education on adaptive equipment. The Occupational Therapist will create a plan of care to help patients reach their highest level of functioning in the most efficient way. Good communication with the clinical team and recognizing signs and symptoms to prevent readmissions is crucial. Support within the department includes departmental leadership, a scheduler, a clinical manager, clinical supervisors, and peer support. Technology and equipment used include EPIC Rover (view only), Focura for uploading discharge instructions and other essential documents, and Samsung Note 9 phones.
