Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Expectations of amount of time in Hospital:
  • Admissions Required: 4
  • Patients Per Shift: 3-8
  • Bed in Department: 12
  • Phone Consults: 5
• Rounding patients: unassigned and assigned
• EMR System: MediTech
• Call Type: Beeper with a 15 min response time required
  • Avg Call # Per 24 Hr: Phone Consults: 5, Call Ratio: 1:4, Patients Seen: 3-5, Call Back Percentage: 25%, Admissions: 4
  • Onsite call room available
• Average Number of Deliveries per Year: 650
• PEDs Level: 2
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA, Strong unit and provider support

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Eligible
• Fellowship - Preferred
• Active NC License
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Provider must have a clean history
• Experience with circumcisions
• Must be able to perform these required skills: Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation (Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic , Amniocentesis, Routine delivery (Vaginal, Decision-making for c-section), Complicated delivery (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions), Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, Surgical gynecology -(Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation), Laser certification
