Click the link to apply Job Summary Under the direct supervision of The Peach Cobbler Factory Management, the Team Lead performs essential food service and guest service duties including food preparation, order fulfillment, cashiering, stocking, and catering support. This role may also assist with delegating tasks, overseeing daily or nightly operations, and coaching Cobbleristas and Trainees as needed. The PT Team Lead is expected to deliver a friendly, high-quality guest experience while maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and health standards in compliance with County, State, and Federal regulations. Duties & Responsibilities Greet every guest with a warm, friendly smile Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uniform at all times Accurately operate the POS/cash register to process orders and payments Prepare, serve, and present food to company standards Follow USDA food safety, storage, and equipment maintenance guidelines Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and service areas Support team members and assist with training as needed Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of food service and cashiering experience preferred Prior food service experience strongly preferred, Leadership experience required Ability to work long hours and flexible schedules (weekends required) Strong verbal and written communication skills Food Handler’s Certification required within six months of hire Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of: County, State, and Federal food safety and health codes Food allergens, ingredients, and basic nutritional information Inventory control and food service equipment Skills in: Customer service and hospitality Food preparation and sanitization procedures Time management and organization Working independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and multitasking Ability to: Lead and support team members effectively Communicate clearly with guests and coworkers Learn and apply safety and sanitation regulations Train and guide other employees Safely operate kitchen and cleaning equipment Maintain cleanliness of floors, utensils, cookware, and facilities The Peach Cobbler Factory – Smithfield, NC Equal Opportunity Employer View all jobs at this company
