Job Description:
Labcorp is recruiting an IT Product Manager with knowledge and
expertise in anatomic pathology, clinical laboratory operations and
systems for a dynamic team in Durham, NC. The LIMS Modernization
team has an opportunity for a talented Product Manager to join a
motivated and productive team in delivering enterprise-level
solutions for a laboratory information and management system. This
person will contribute to the overall strategy and will lead
translating that strategy into an executable plan. They will think
holistically and demonstrate a passion for delivering a superior
customer experience balanced with driving operational efficiencies
and delivering our core services. The ideal candidate has
successful experience defining software systems and supporting
teams throughout the project lifecycle, as well as technical
expertise in laboratory medicine. Our team is dynamic and growing
so there is opportunity to be involved in all areas of the system
development life cycle and have exposure to full project lifecycle
including development methods. The Product Manager will be
responsible for interacting with business and technical
stakeholders to translate the strategic direction into designs
considering market best practices and competitive experiences
within healthcare. You will be responsible for considering all
aspects and guiding the team to the outcomes that best serve our
customers and Labcorp. You will make judgments and recommendations
based on data, analysis and knowledge. You will then ensure the
proper translation of the vision and design to the execution team,
and delivery of the intended experience and value to the business.
This job requires a high-level understanding of software
development lifecycle, complex product management processes
including roadmap development, new feature design and development,
software industry, project management, and user experience design.

point of view. Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree required 5 years of experience in a leading role
working with complex LIMS products. Keen understanding and
experience of product engineering and product management process
using agile methodology. An ideal candidate will have familiarity
with relevant standards (FHIR, HIPAA, LOINC, SNOMED, ISO 15189)
Experience in modeling workflows; understanding of structured data
capture, terminology and ontologies Entrepreneurial drive and
ability to work at a fast pace. Critical thinking and
decision-making skills based on experience, metrics and insights.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to present technical
and non-technical information clearly and concisely. Highly skilled
at facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution. Experience in
healthcare, laboratory operations and systems. Broad technical
exposure with the ability to learn new technology tools and
concepts quickly. Strong understanding of agile development
methodologies. Experience with project life-cycle management tools
such as Confluence and JIRA. Experience building a content
driven(low/no code) system at scale is a plus Must be able and
willing to travel as required (Approx. 10% domestic) Benefits:
