Job Description:
This job requires a strong background in performance engineering
and exceptional organizational, analytical, collaborative and
communication skills along with the ability to Lead, Mentor and
guide engineers within the team. As a member of the Performance
Engineering team, the expectation is to use industry methods and
tools to solve complex performance and stability issues and
innovate new methods and reports to provide value to the
organization. The job responsibility includes collaborating and
partnering across the entire organization which may include
external vendor partners. As a member of the performance
engineering team, the job role is both technically competent and
business oriented. The Expertise you have Establish and enhance
application performance testing framework and infrastructure and
provide actionable metrics / reports to help identify performance
bottlenecks / issues. Through understanding of microservices
architecture on Docker, Container and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Expertise in creating performance test cases / suites / framework
using performance tools like JMeter or similar tools and using
pipelines to trigger the tests. Build and improve standard
methodology for performance, load, stress, chaos along with
analytics and reporting based on business requirements. Expertise
in building Datadog dashboards for better visibility and
observability. Sophisticated knowledge in performance engineering
area. Ability to work independently, Manage and Prioritize workload
in fast paced dynamic environment and effectively meet challenging
deadlines. Ability to partner with and influence individuals across
team boundaries and at all levels of the organization. Strong
presentation, facilitation, time management and prioritization
skills. Demonstrates positive can-do attitude and flexibility to
accommodate evolving needs. Organized, flexible, self-starting
individual that is very diligent in details. Knowledge and
expertise in agile way of working. Foster collaboration by
identifying and conveying common interests and priorities
(including removing barriers and breaking down silos). Applying key
aspects of continuous improvement process and evaluating impact on
quality / efficiency of own work. Must be able to multi-task in a
self-motivated fashion Triage defects with Development Partners and
Project Management Team. Provide performance tuning recommendations
to development teams as needed. Ability to work with multiple teams
at various levels. The skills you bring 10-15 years of IT
experience with 10 years in performance engineering / analysis
Experience in software performance benchmarking tools (JMeter,
LoadRunner, Akamai CloudTest, K6 etc.) Experience in monitoring and
observability tools like Splunk and Datadog. Experience in
migration / tuning cloud-based applications both in AWS and Azure.
Experience on environment focused on agile software development,
Devops, and CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and GitHub / Bitbucket.
Intermediate experience with Java / Python. Experience with LINUX /
UNIX / Windows Operating systems. Must have a crisp, clear
communications skills to all levels of interaction (technical, non
– technical, and all levels of management) Bachelor’s degree in
computer science, information technology or Engineering. The value
you deliver Identifying bottlenecks and providing tuning
recommendations to help improve performance of the application to
enhance stability and availability of applications. Development,
Maintenance and Monitoring existing test suites and observability
dashboards. Coordinate and encourage the adoption of new tools and
