Job Description: This job is responsible for completing and tracking compliance deliverables to ensure applications adhere to policies and standards as well as local laws, rules, and regulations. Key responsibilities include supporting compliance deliverables and infrastructure requests, vendors, development teams, and technology managers to ensure timely completion of compliance activities. Job expectations include partnering with control functions, risk management, and Global Information Security teams to complete compliance deliverables effectively and efficiently. Overview: Manages all application(s) or AIT within the technology environment to keep compliant with external regulators as well as with Bank policies. Supports systems through maintenance, modification, problem resolution to support ongoing delivery of services and/or operations and regulation changes. Oversees coordination of multiple projects and release planning to ensure production stability. May provide expertise in determining the strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives with minimum technical debt. Provides L3 support to production issues. Provides training and technical assistance to more junior associates. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. Responsibilities: Completes administrative and non-technical tasks related to risk, security, and other compliance deliverables (e.g., access reviews, assessments, questionnaires, and procedural requirements) on time and per requirements for the application supported Tracks and supports the technical security and risk activities performed by the development teams (e.g., remediation of non permitted technology or security vulnerabilities, technical recovery planning, and disaster recovery exercises) Works with technology infrastructure teams to incorporate infrastructure requirements, including requests for additional storage Assists with audit exams and risk assessments for applications Works closely with vendors for vendor applications to ensure they meet bank requirements Maintains data about the application in AppHQ and other systems of record Assists with ad hoc inquiries and questions about applications Responsible for maintaining applications in compliance with both external regulation and Bank internal mandates Manage assigned application servers to keep up to date with software updates and vulnerability remediation, including rehosting projects to update infrastructure and monitoring of server capacity and performance Responsible for maintaining and executing Technical recovery plans Work with Information Security partners to plan solutions and resolve complex vulnerabilities Manages and coordinates activities with vendors, contractors or other IT partners involved in the application’s functional upgrades, production issue resolution and regulatory updates, ensuring SLAs are met Establishes routines to monitor and resolve required deliverables for application governance Maintains up to date information regarding the application in all the required systems of record regarding permissions, interphases, connectivity, servers, used technology, etc Providing L3 support for production issues Acts in coordination and provides support to other application managers on common issues Identification and proactive risk management Required Qualifications: 7 years of experience in IT Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall) and Devops practices Experience in banking segment and application architecture Knowledge in application development languages, databases and architecture Contribute to risk culture by holding self-accountable to managing risk Excellent oral and written communication Demonstrated compliance culture Ability to work in a team Remains positive and focused during times of pressure or adversity Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems Ability to engage with Product and operations in technology discussions Project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution Self-motivated, pro-active individual, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to drive a project from concept to delivery Critical thinking and problem solving Influences others Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment Desired Qualifications: Domain expertise in billing and pricing applications Knowledge of mainframe technology and development tools Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services Skills: Application Development Architecture Collaboration DevOps Practices Risk Management Analytical Thinking Data Management Financial Management Solution Delivery Process Technical Strategy Development Agile Practices Automation Result Orientation Solution Design Test Engineering Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency details US - NJ - Jersey City - 101 Hudson St - 101 Hudson (NJ2101) Pay and benefits information Pay range $92,000.00 - $144,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
