Job Description Job Description Company Overview Position Overview The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for managing all inbound material operations and leading the receiving team to ensure goods are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role ensures compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and inventory control procedures while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence within the receiving department. Key Responsibilities • Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, train, schedule, and motivate receiving team members, ensuring they understand and follow safety protocols and procedures. Ability to • Receiving Operations: Oversee unloading, sorting, counting, and verifying incoming goods against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Inventory Management: Monitor Inventory, conduct cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper storage and organization of items. • Documentation: Manage and process essential documents like bills of lading, advanced shipping notices, and packing slips. • Quality Control: Inspect received products for quality and damage, ensuring they meet standards. • Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, enforcing all health, safety, and security regulations. • Coordination: Liaise with other departments (e.g., logistics, Shipping,) for effective operations and to resolve issues. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Required Skill and Competencies: 2–5 years of experience in a warehouse setting, with 1-2 years of leadership experience. High school diploma required, Associate and/or bachelor's degree in supply chain management is a plus. Proficiency in WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Office Suite, and RF scanner technology. Clearly and effectively conveys information across all levels of the organization, ensuring understanding and collaboration. Handles workplace challenges with professionalism, promoting positive outcomes and maintaining team harmony. Guides and motivates team members during transitions, fostering adaptability and a positive attitude. Demonstrates consistent dependability by maintaining excellent attendance and fulfilling commitments on time. HAZMAT training or Lean Six Sigma is a plus but not required Work Environment This role operates in both office and manufacturing at the Mocksville site, with exposure to climate controlled and non-climate controlled areas. This role typically operates on a Monday-Friday 8-hour schedule with occasional weekends as needed. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling. Ability to lift up to 75lbs. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas. Noise levels in the facility can reach up to 90 decibels, requiring hearing protection as part of standard safety protocols. Compensation This is an exempt salary role with a range of $55,000-$65,000 a year. We offer Medical, Dental, Vison, HSA and FSA Benefits eligibility on day one of hire. Paid Time Off.
