Description:Position is working in the Allergy Department. Position will be responsible for the preparation of samples to be analyzed by ICP/MS. This will involve specimen management, sample prep and instrument set up. Performs tests and analyses in an according to established testing procedures in designated technical department. Gains knowledge of department procedures and operations. Employee will be responsible for sample prep, amplification, loading on genetic analyzers, and result review. Additionally, other bench duties may be required dependent on current staffing, specimen volumes, and other workflow needs as determined by supervisor.Additional Skills & Qualifications:BS in Biology or Chemistry0-1 years of lab experiencePrior ICP/MS experience is a plusWork Environment:Will be working in the allergy department.
