Job Description:

LabCorp is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to join our team in Burlington, NC. This role works in a high volume, production based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.

The schedule for this position will work Monday -- Friday, 8:30am -- 5:30pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day customer service operations for a team of 10-12 employees, to provide staff with guidance and drive productivity.
  • Establish and update work assignments to account for changing staff levels.
  • Research and resolve escalated customer concerns in a timely manner, or redirect concerns to appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Lead process improvement and problem-solving efforts.
  • Monitor metrics and develop action plans to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Assist with hiring and interviewing.
  • Assess employee performance.
  • Conduct employee coaching and training.
  • Maintain client relationships.
  • Work with Account Management team, Sales staff, and other internal departments to provide excellent service to clients.
  • Conduct and attend meetings as appropriate.
  • Actively support Customer Service Manager.


  • Normally requires an Associate's Degree
  • 3-5 years' experience in Customer Service
