This role needs strong online journey and website strategy skills in support of our campaigns as well as good PM and collaboration with an understanding of omnichannel marketing and touchpoints.

Summary Description:

The Digital Channel Engagement role is the strategic and project lead responsible for the management and enablement of multichannel campaigns. This includes account management, digital marketing consultation, estimating, budget planning, scheduling, execution, tracking and reporting the success of each project and overall portfolio of projects.

The individual will be fully versed in digital marketing and best practices, customer journey orchestration, user experience & website strategy, email marketing and other offerings of the Digital Channels & Platforms team. This role will have a digital website strategy role taking campaigns created by our Integrated Marketers and building upon their strategy to create a successful and innovative online experience.

He/she will engage regularly integrated marketing, product marketing, content, website, email, SEO and social media partners, using that knowledge to deliver digital/web channel best practices and advice.

The Digital Channel Engagement role is the main point of contact for Digital campaigns and efforts and, as appropriate, the global marketing community on priority projects/programs, and works in a highly-matrixed organization with a significant degree of independence. In a team atmosphere, the Digital Channel Engagement guides and leads projects from conception through execution, drawing upon all the capabilities of the Digital team and associated vendors/ partners.

The Digital Channel Engagement roler works to understand the business priorities, vision and objectives of internal client projects and communicates this vision to the broader Digital team to ensure ongoing quality outcomes. The Digital Channel Engagement Consultant works with the channel teams and the Channels Leader to ensure high-impact, innovative outcomes for the company. Will work with marketing leadership and others, including Marketing and Sales peers managing other digital engagement touch points.

Strategic & Technical Orientation / Job Content:

  • Identify priorities within subject area and drive digital channel solutions for sales and marketing initiatives.
  • As a trusted business advisor, brings subject matter skills from throughout the Digital organization to deliver impactful and measurable solutions.
  • Works directly on multiple priority projects, ensuring brand, risk and other standards are adhered to.
  • Leads resources and those in other functions, to achieve collective goals.
  • Evaluates, analyzes and interprets voice of the customer and market research information from a variety of sources and applies learning to drive Digital Team Offerings.
  • Understands competitive positioning in order to contribute to the development of messaging and marketing strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Digital team capabilities.
  • Evaluates the appropriateness of potential projects with alignment to marketing strategy, targets and business development opportunities.
  • Measures and tracks results of programs and reports on Return On Investment (ROI). Produces both a quantitative and qualitative analysis on how channel strategy contributes to impact on client relationships, the sales pipeline and brand awareness/equity.
  • Innovates where necessary, leverage existing best-in-class solutions where possible.
  • Makes independent decisions on the execution of marketing tactics and consults or escalates when appropriate .
  • Must be able to handle and manage a high volume of requests via our workflow tool (Workfront).

    Range of Impact:

    • Independently leads execution of Labcorp's priority programs and projects, problem resolution and identification of new and emerging opportunities.
    • Manages delivery of the brand internally and to the marketplace; identifies brand and other risks.
    • Collaborates with internal clients to produce creative outcomes that continually raise the bar in fulfilling the brand promise.
    • Work with marketing network leaders to ensure a client-centric experience is properly embedded in our go-to-market channels, service development, and relationship-building initiatives.
    • Proactively network with senior leadership to harmonize disparate needs and objectives while advocating consistency, collaboration and alignment.
    • Reports into Digital Channel Engagement Associate Director.

      Scope of responsibility:

      • Works directly on priority projects, ensuring brand, risk and other standards are adhered to.
      • Responsible for defining priorities within their subject area.
      • Collaborates with internal clients on digital campaign solutions for the website and email channels.
      • Responsible for driving solutions that effectively use digital channels to benefit our marketing and sales strategy.
      • Deliver strategic advice to Segments/ Products/Business Unit as well as M&S leadership on Digital matters.
      • Responsible for managing multiple complex priority programs simultaneously.
      • Has the ability to effectively cope with accelerating changes as required in a dynamic market and organization, adjusting programs on an as-needed basis.
      • Serve as the main point of contact for a specific area of marketing and/or functional business unit regarding Digital offerings.

        Experience Level:

        Required capabilities & experience:

        • High level of self-direction and decision making.
        • Has strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling and relevant messaging.
        • Strong campaign management, relationship and client interfacing skills.
        • Deep knowledge of digital marketing and in particular, delivering state of the art online journeys and user experiences .
        • Strong project management skills.
        • Analytics and campaign measurement reporting experience using Adobe Analytics or similar.
        • Understanding of CMS including AEM is preferred.
        • Has the ability to effectively cope with accelerating changes as required in a dynamic market and organization adjusting programs on an as-needed basis.
        • Ability to overcome internal barriers and resource constraints in order to produce successful program.
        • Self-aware, reads situations and understands differences in people and adapts behavior to build quality relationships .
        • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
        • Ability to organize and collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority.
        • Attention to detail and quality.
