Who We Are:Strategic Interventions, LLC (SI) is a growing mental health company, currently with seven large Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT) Teams located across North Carolina. We offer Evidence Based Practices to adults with severe mental illness. We are known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike. We are adding a Registered Nurse to our team.What We Offer:Competitive Pay - $30+/hour based on skills and experience.Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (mostly paid by the company).Generous Paid Time Off policy.Life InsuranceOption of Long-Term Disability and Short-Term Disability Insurance.Use of a company car.Opportunities for training, career development and growth within the organization.Requirements:Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing and current licensure as registered nurse (RN) with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.Work experience: One year experience working with adults with serious mental illness preferred but not required. We will train you!Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Working knowledge of psychiatric medications is essential.Understanding of nursing standards, ability to work with members in the community that are not in a clinical setting and provide medication education to members.Understanding of nursing principles, medication storage, HIPAA standards and medical service coordination.Ability to work with members who have mental illness that may require frequent redirection.Knowledge of a wide range of medical, behavioral, and psychosocial problems and their treatments.Knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes and their treatment as they relate to clinical interventions and appropriate therapies that are based on medical and/or psychiatric diagnoses. Knowledge of the fundamental principles, techniques, and methods of the recovery process and knowledge of the population being served.Knowledge of task analysis, goal writing and the ability to observe behaviors and communicate these observations in writing and verbally, make recommendations for treatment and document progress.Ability to work cooperatively, creatively, and productively as a member of a service delivery team.Ability and willingness to take on the service assignments of other team members when absences occur and communicate with other team members in a clear, honest, and open manner.Required Interpersonal Skills:Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members being served by the Assertive Community Treatment Team. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, plan and execute work effectively. This employee must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of the caseload and their families as well as civic, legal, medical, social, and religious organizations. Ability to work cooperatively, creatively, and productively as a member of a service delivery team and communicate with other team members in a clear, honest, and open manner.
