Job Description:
The IT Executive Partner drives value by informing Executive
decision making, building partnerships, and evolving culture to
satisfy and elevate the Labcorp mission through technology. In this
role, you will directly influence short-term, mid-term and
long-term technology strategy across 6 geographical regions and all
business segments of Labcorp Diagnostics. You will lead a Team of
Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to understand each business
function's strategy and provide technology guidance to accomplish
business objectives. Your mission is to partner closely with
cross-functional Executive Leadership (Business, Operations, IT) to
create a focused Dx Technology (DxTech) portfolio that delivers
value to our extensive network of employees, clients, and
patients.
Essential Job Duties
In this role, you will have 3 major focus areas:Lead Strategic
Planning Manage DxTech Portfolio Develop & Manage Talent Lead
Strategic Planning You will partner with Executive Business and IT
leadership to set the vision, strategy and quarterly plans for how
technology will enable the mission and goals for a given business
segment or geographical division. As Team Lead, you will also serve
as the primary IT point of contact for Diagnostics Lab
Operations.
- 'Be a Doctor' - Coach Executive Business and Operations leaders
and enable them to articulate their pain points, business
objectives, and anticipated 'return on investment' for engaging
IT.
- Solution Discovery - Partner with internal IT Subject Matter
Experts to 'translate' business needs into technology requirements.
Discover and define high level objectives, benefits, scope,
approach, and timing for identified center of excellence.
- Trusted Advisor - Act as Thought Partner to Executive
Leadership as they prioritize initiatives, consider tradeoffs, and
determine resource and funding allocation. Prepare and effectively
deliver presentations to enable informed business decisions.
- Assessment - Provide guidance and oversight for business case
development across the portfolio, monitoring for business
justification, dependencies, and risks.
- Buy In - Communicate the business strategy/objectives,
priorities, and pain points to the IT division. Influence the IT
delivery organization(s) to plan and provide requisite support
- Align - Facilitate Executive Leadership strategy sessions -
across Business, Operations, IT - to move the ball forward on
critical, high visibility initiatives. Drive greater visibility and
awareness across organizational silos.
- Network - Develop a personal network of contacts across the
organization who can share their expertise on specific ideas and
projects
Manage DxTech PortfolioYou will lead the BRM Team to manage
technology initiatives from ideation through development
kickoff.
- Roadmap - Ensure that DxTech roadmaps are maintained for all
divisions, business segments, and lab operations. Maintain a
comprehensive grasp of all projects under way. Prepare portfolio
views for review and presentation
- Visibility - Champion transparency and awareness of DxTech
roadmap across Diagnostics business segments to arm Executive
leadership with a holistic view of technology priorities
- Demand Management - Oversee the intake process to support
projects moving from Ideation to Development. Manage the BRM Team
to maintain the pipeline. Champion and continuously improve the
idea intake process to help ideas flow through the process and
easily identify high impact ones
- Risk Management & Escalation - Drive issue problem diagnosis,
option generation, and resolution management
- Communication - Notify the business of technology plans and
changes, and their impact on business performance or plans
- Cost Management - Understand the overall financials surrounding
IT activities performed for their business areas and ensure the
overall costs remain effective and consistent with the motivating
business drivers
- ROI - Produce regular reports depicting the business value of
projects and system/products
Develop & Manage Talent You will lead a high performing team of
Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) who each manage the
relationships, intake and portfolio for a subset of the Diagnostics
business.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Executive Partnership - 10+ years of experience in roles with
direct interaction & high influence with executive leadership, both
internal and external. Can quickly build rapport and trust quickly
across all departments; creates alignment from disparate senior
stakeholders to commit to key talent initiatives.
- Lab Operations - 5+ years Lab experience and knowledge of Lab
operations, processes, and information systems.
- Enterprise - Prior success in supporting large enterprise
businesses that deliver services, products and outcomes at
scale.
- Business Judgement - Experience building business and
operational plans, ability to determine financial and operational
impacts.
- Delivery - Proven success developing and producing successful
business and project outcomes.
