Department Supervisor - 1st Shift Mail Services/Print Insert Operations Professional Profile7am-3:30pm with Flexibility of working before and/or after scheduled times.Must have a valid NC Driver's license to be able to maintain requirements by Fleet management systems for courier services.Supervise the work of clerks, who typically open, sort and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing items for mailing. Oversee the work of the Print/Insert department processes of printing and inserting mail.The supervisor must provide training with Team Leads for new employees to help them do their jobs in an efficient manner. Organize GO meetings, training and supervising staff for 1st shift in Mail Services/Print & Insert.Have strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to supervise multi-tasked schedules.Professional ExperienceSupervise and keep up with mail customer route deliveries.Back up for mail courier route if needed.Knowledge of excelKnowledge of UPS and FedEx scanning procedures for inbound and outbound packages.Keep SOP's up to date for the Dept.Attend meetings/classes as required by RCM management.Monitor current inventory levels on all supplies for weekly supply orders.Help count quarterly inventory when needed.Able to lift 30lbs repeatedly.Maintaining and keeping up with IOR standards.Strong mechanical skillsTroubleshoot/fix any issues with all mailing equipment & place service calls when needed.Knowledge of 5s and supervising in a lean environment.Will need to have forklift experience or be able to get in a timely manner.Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:As an EOE/AA employer, Labcorp strives for diversity and inclusion in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
