Job Description Primary PurposeProvide safe work atmosphere for employees, ensuring embrex crew has and are using all prescribed PPE. Produce quality products for internal and external customers. Supervise day to day operations of Embrex staff. Ensure all programs and procedures for the transfer and vaccination process are followed to achieve goals on hatch, HOF and chick quality. Ensure correct operation of all Embrex machines, making sure all protocols are followed for startup, run and cleanup at the end of each transfer day. Ensure correct mixing and application of all vaccines. Ensure that all programs for safety are followed. Manage vaccination budgets and staffing. Ensure all operating supplies and vaccines are inventoried and tracked.Major Duties & Responsibilities Correct transfer/vaccination of all eggs and operation of Embrex machines. Manage vaccination budgets, compile reports, documentation, flow of information. Labor and staffing, develop and train in all related Hatchery activities adding competencies and increasing commitment levels. Correct mixing and application of vaccines, ensure inventory and tracking are correct. Provide a safe work environment for employees, ensure Embrex crew has/uses all prescribed PPE. Sanitation of equipment and facilities.Qualifications High School Diploma. 2-5 years' relevant work experience. Complete certification for operation of Embrex transfer machines and vaccine mixing protocols. Good communication skills, ability to supervise and lead staff. Ability to learn new skills, adapt to change.
