Title: Adjunct Position for Chemistry Hiring Range: UG Pay Band: Agency: Virginia Military Institute Location: Virginia Military Institute Agency Website: www.vmi.edu Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The Department of Chemistry at the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, VA, seeks to fill adjunct position(s). Appointment date is to start January 1, 2024. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Primary teaching responsibilities will be general chemistry lectures and labs; class sizes are usually 18-24 cadets. Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 graduate hours of chemistry credits; Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry is preferred.
